For the past week or so I've been listening to
6ix9ine. I never used to like his music but for some reason I caught an ear for it the other day when I heard one of his songs on the radio |

For the past couple weeks i've been listening to hustling song playlists on Spotify. Drake, Post Malone, Kanye, g-eazy. It's hard to pick one out, new albums are spinning every day, every hour of the day, the whole week.

I have a variety of music on my Playlist as usual, I kind of enjoy all genres to be realistic. To show you how versatile my music selection is, the past 3 artists that I've listened to over the past 10 minutes are Nirvana, Bob Marley and mobb deep. Some of my friends can appreciate my choice for a variety of music, while some think I'm looney. Lol.

It's a long long ride when you think about it. We are all quite familiar with playlists. What you are listening 'right now' could mean quite too many.
I've been digging through some post-rock ambient playlists while working. I find music without lyrics don't interrupt my mind, while i listen to the lyrical songs when i am open to get inspired. |

I have my girl Nicki Minaj playing.. I love this girls music. I can say that atleast 8 out of every 10 songs she puts out is quality, good music. Some may not agree, but I believe she has a unique style.

What do you think about the last feat with 6ix9ine ? I enjoy some hip hop now and then, the latest eminem album hit everyone by surprise, now the machine gun kelly responded to a diss track, hit 12m views in a day, lol. I don't remember last time the type of this beef happened. |

Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Korn, Limp Bizkit the nu-metal oldies. I wonder how many of you remember these bands, i don't find many people in the forums who are into these genres. I mainly listen to them for nostalgia, but the message the bands give i feel like i have outgrown the main idea behind their lyrics.
I do listen to some of new rap songs, except mumble rap, i don't really find myself related to their music |

Despite being safely within the "over 40 crowd" as Snaike mentioned - I am well versed in all those bands save Limp Bizkit, who I used to know one song from, but can no longer remember it. I've even seen Disturbed in concert (and wasn't even nearly the oldest person there!). Looking forward to Evolution.

"Nu-metal", is that like Simichrome Polish? I'm more into R&B or R&R. Edited by hoserator - 06 Oct 2018 at 2:49am |

Hey hey "nu metal" genre is actually over, it's now an old nu metal, these days they do mixing effects to bring weird sounds that are naturally impossible
new-age metal or something. I've been through the 70s-90s music phase though :D |
