Here is what I would do... lol
you won't need a 1500 watt power supply, so drop down to 1000-1250 watt one
drop the 2 500Gb HDD's in RAID and get an Intel 160Gb SSD, so much faster, not even funny.
why 2 bluray players? should be able to drop one of them.
go with the standard overclock on the CPU.
that should save enough money to pay for the SSD, and make it overall a lot faster rig.
If you want help overclocking the CPU or GPU further, I can help you out there.

CPU=good, if the 920 is available take that otherwise the 930 is fine, just a touch more $$ video cards= good
RAM=ok I feel that RAM speed is pretty important, but the amount you have to pay for such small gains makes it not that big of a deal.
LC, tough call, DS's liquid cooling keeps getting better and better, but the hardware keeps putting out more and more heat lol, such a vicious cycle..
If you want to liquid cool the components, tell me why? then I could better answer this question.. If it is for better temps? higher overclocking ability, reduced noise, coolness factor? lol

well remember that if the room temp goes up, your temps will go up with water cooling, just as they would with air cooling.

Water will get better temps than air, no matter what the room temps is, but they also both scale linearly with the ambient temps to load temps.. if that makes sense?

@ Nick123, gta can be maxed out but crysis can't be maxed out, not at that res, I don't think anything can max out crysis.
@ SemperFuzz, I'm surprised to hear you say that, you are spending money on the fan controller just for looks, and the corsair psu, again great psu the enermax will run sli just fine also, so that is more money spend that does not need to be spent, 5 year platinum warranty at least brings something to the table that was not there, I'm not saying anything is wrong with what you like to get, I'm just surprised to see you try to save money where it counts So ya, if he wants to keep this pc for more then 3 years, the 5 years brings peace of mind. |

Well he has to make sure his outlet can handle the 1500w psu first, tri sli he will need only for metro or crysis, other dx11 games do well with dual sli IMO, but if he plays games like metro and crysis then tri sli is best for him I guess.
