Ok, I will be returning from Iraq within the next month (wohoooo). I was looking into this build. It will be made to Age of Conan (it's a new MMO that will be useing DX10). The plan for the build is to drop another 8800GTX, when I get around to it. Let me know what ya think. Thank you.

Hmmm. I might go for a 750W power supply, I don't think you need much more than that. Also maybe go down to Air Cooled Stage 2, that might be sufficient and save you a little money. But as for the vid card/processor . . . I'm not quite sure. Age of Conan looks like it'll be a really graphics-intensive game. Are you planning on running it on high? Because if you are, you might consider dual video cards. I'm not sure tho, be sure to wait for more peoples' advice.

Well the 850W P/S is because I plan on dropping in another 8800GTX. As for the cooling, I rather cough up the extra 30 bucks to keep her cool, then fret of her overheating for some bizarre reason.

Hmm. The machine I'm thinking of right now has dual 8800 ultras and a quad processor . . . maybe I should go with 850W. But their um . . Twister ULTRA computer is a quad and dual 8800 ultras, and while it does use 850W, it also only has Air Cooled Stage 2, so you might consider changing that.

But I think you're right about the 850W power supply

Going with a Q6600 is good if you have a tight budget, but, it will limit your overclock. We can get it up to 3.2GHz, but, we can push the E6850 much higher to over 3.6GHz. I would recommend sticking with the E6850 because it also uses Intel's new 1333MHz Front Side Bus.
 
About our ULTRA configuration that has the 8800ULTRA's and Quad-Core processor, the reason why we dont have the cooling system at Stage 3 and only 2 is because the Stage 3 offers TwisterBoost technology, but, the processor that is selected "QX6800" comes with our TwisterBoost technology already!
 
The 850W power supply is always a good idea, the more power you have the less likely you will need to undo our amazing wiring job and re-routing all of the cables.

850w would be the min that I would use for a system that you plan on keeping and upgrading in the future.  I originally was going to use the 6850 but I rescinded that order and I am going to go for the Quad Core so I am ready for the next generation of games.

Like I said in the start, I plan on playing Age of Conan when it comes out in the end of Oct. It's a game that is designed for DX10. Therefore I'm going to go With Vista premium. I have 2 questions for Alex. 1) Will you guys actually OC for me if I ask, or do I need to that on my own? 2) The rig will come with a 64bit version of Vista, right?   Thank you in advance bro.

You have to order 64-bit through Microsoft (it's going to cost you more money including shipping & handling). Only Windows Vista Ultimate is out of the box 64-bit, all other retail versions is 32-bit. (yep it's stupid)

I'm still using Windows XP, I will be purchasing 64-bit Windows Vista Premium when I build/order my new PC for Starcraft 2 sometime in 2008.

If all your hardware has 64-bit certified drivers, then I would suggest upgrading. Also if you plan on adding 4gb of ram or upgrading to a core 2 quad to your computer, then yes.

64-bit won't be mainstream this generation so don't worry if you choose not to upgrade. The performance gain is also very minimal from what I notice.

Sky did a great job answering questions.
 
About the overclocking, yes, we do that for you, just select the TwisterBoost technology option under cooling. If you select Vista Ultimate it will have a 64-bit version. If you want, we can also request Vista Home Premium in 64-bit flavor. But, please note that not a lot of games are written in 64-bit code and support all of the advance features. Your better off with a 32-bit OS for better stability, support, and more compatibility for now.
