i am planning to buy r9 7950X + 4090 rtx (Aventum X) pc. but i dunno if should go 1500W or 1000W. 1000W should be enough but i dunno if aventum x cooling system reserves walts from psu or not. i will streaming/gaming/video editing/coding with the pc for the long term. my max budget is 5900 USD. if 1000w is enough that would be awesome for me.

A 1kW PSU should suffice.
Example estimated power consumption calculation Most (non-benchmark) workloads won't push every component to 100% at the same time. Additionally, I've adjusted some of the values to align with more realistic situations. Edited by MrCheetah - 08 Dec 2022 at 10:29pm |
