Ares is a p2p software that illegally downloads music.

so of course you don't pay for pirated files.

there are plenty of much better p2p software out there.

HM is saying they pay for their music which means he gets it the legal way.

can't do that with private sites cause the tracker need your real ip, you can't use a proxy with a torrent program.

also for those who are not familiar with how proxies work, you would need to be behind 40 proxies to truly not be traceable, otherwise the govt or any ofcials can locate your behind your proxy.

NG are safe. But they have even more info on you. Considering you have to pay for the service.

some isp's have free ng service

but torrents are the biggest target of mpaa and riaa right now.

so actually using something else would be safer since all eyes are on torrents

NG is the only safe one right now.
the amount of people who actually get busted and tried is so small compared to the people who DL the stuff.  Its not in the companys best finanical interest to go after the indivuals. Theyll shut the sites down that supply the torrents etc.  The most anyone will get is a warning from your cable provider to tell u to stop.  There is also a few nice plugins for torrent programs that block alot of the questionable IP addys asscioated with torrents.

Sorry Randy, I use both comcast and rcn.

I put my gf on the comcast (comcrap)

and I use my rcn connection which is 2mbps/20mbps

I can't get busted for downloading because it's not illegal to download for personal use in Canada.

And they also can't sue torrent trackers because torrents aren't illegal. It's the certain files that users upload that are illegal.

Nor are they going to waste their time to find all the private trackers, my only known private tracker to be shut down was oink.cd and that gave birth to what.cd =\

Ya I know, I stopped using klite too, I used to be on the original board of the klite, I actually put out klt K++ 2.7.0 and I also put out edonkey lite 1.4.x myself. that was back when they were hot an edonkey's site was not busted yet.
