Hi, Apart from the visual, different case, the motherboards are for different chipsets (V: Z370 - Intel; L:Z470 - AMD); the memory is 8GB in the V and 16GB in the L, the fans are different and the gpu, the V has a GTX1060 and the L has an RTX2060. The Vanquish line has been a product for a while and the Lynx is new. The RTX cards are the latest from NVDA. They are both pre-builts and ready to go. The Vanquish line is dated, has older gpu and I imagine that when DS sells the last one, the line will be terminated. Those are the apparent differences. As to the computing ability of each, someone else will be better able than me to detail those. The Lynx has more memory and a newer gpu so it will probably be a bit better. What exactly are you looking for, if I may be so bold in asking you. ![]() Good luck choosing. Enjoy.

Better if you had posted this question in the Configuration section. I almost overlooked it here.
hoserator has done a good job laying out the differences. IMO, the Lynx is pretty far out ahead of the Vanquish build. The CPUs are very similar performers, and just about every other part of any consequence is higher end on the LYNX. The RTX 2060 is the newest tech, and will outperform the 1060 by a significant difference. 16GB of RAM is where you want to be for future gaming. I predict the only upgrade you might NEED for the Lynx for several years might be to bump up the SSD storage when you need to. |
