I originally bought a 27” monitor but I feel like it’s straining my eyes because of how close I need to be in front of it. I am considering returning it and getting dual 24” monitors instead. I was just wondering what size monitors you guys use and if you could recommend some good 24” monitors that won’t kill my wallet :/.

My Lumo’s build has a CPU: i9 intel 10850k and GPU: rtx 3080 if that helps.

Also here is how the 27” monitor looks on my gaming desk on the right. I don’t have much room to put it further back unfortunately. https://imgur.com/a/oDOaTzr

What resolution is that monitor?
I like (and most here) 27" and 2K (1440) is the sweet spot on resolution. 4K is finally doable but $$$$$. With your hardware you should have no issues with a 2K at all. There are plenty to choose from and some have some have eye friendly tech.

I have a 1920x1200 24" (1080p) I just can't seem to dislike. The extra 120 pixels at the top make a big difference for me.

My little GTX1070 is powering 2 monitors (1080p)... a 27" main with a 24" above. It's all I need and they work fabulously.

Alienware curved 34" at 1440p, using RTX 2070 Super.

It’s only a 1080p monitor. This is actually gonna be my secondary monitor. Only reason I bought it so fast was because there was a sale on it so I figured I might as well get it. I was planning to make my main monitor an LG ultra gear 1440p and after reading around a bit I feel comfortable getting a 27” monitor as planned. I don’t think I’m ready for 4K yet but maybe in the near future :)

Nice! I’ve heard nothing but good things about 24” monitors, especially for FPS and esport games but I think I’m going to bite the bullet and try out a dual 27” monitor setup. If anything I could always get a portable laptop table to keep my mouse and keyboard :)

I’ve seen a bit of that setup in a reddit forum and they can look sick with the right wallpapers. I just feel more comfortable having them side by side, also considering making my secondary portrait. Maybe is the future I could try that set up.

That sounds beastly! I love the look of Alienware monitors and was considering getting one if I were to go the 24” route. After careful considering, I am more than likely to get an LG ultra gear for my main :)

I see that LG has a 38" UltraGear - there you go!
