Just curious to see what kind of wait time I should be expecting.
The CPU seems to be readily available other places, as well as the motherboard so really just wondering how long the backlog is on the 3080.

Don’t know about 3080s at the moment, but I know that the average I’m reading on here is about 2-3 months for a PC to get shipped. I’m already about a month and a half in myself.

what parts did you order? read a lot of people waiting on AMD, but don't see much other info regarding 3080s.

I got a 5800X CPU, which is the least popular CPU option luckily. But it turns out parts really aren’t holding my build back. Got confirmation that my parts haven’t even been set aside yet. There isn’t an assessment on whether or not my build needs parts. I’m just waiting in a queue, as per customer service. So, getting closer to 2 months just waiting in line.

I was allegedly just put on a fast lane status, but no stage change yet. My confidence that they’ll reach the deadline they gave me isn’t strong. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I ordered a 5900X/6800 XT combo and was on Stage 1 on 11/23 but have been on Stage 2 since 1/25.

Having said that, during the first month after I placed my order, I did take advantage of the build/shipping delay to re-configure and change my mind about coolers/RAM/hard drives more than once and DS was very patient with my indecision.
Now I'm just hoping to get my PC before the last week of March when I'm off work and can stay home and have plenty of time to play with it but that seems iffy to me.
