It has slow moving fans that moves lots of air. I'm sure you can upgrade it in the future but someone may have to confirm that. I put windows 8, but if you don't want that you can choose windows 7 Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 02 Oct 2013 at 8:01pm |

Welcome to DS, AnthonyV!
Could you give us some more info. What type of games are you planning on playing and at what resolution. Are you looking for SLI or single card with the ability to upgrade in the near future? Is it mainly going to be used for gaming and other general work (web, email, etc) or do you do any digital editing (photo, video, 3d). How much storage do you need (1TB/3TB)? With all that said, here's a build to maximize gaming performance with your given allowance: 876718 $3492 - a few changes that you could make are the case to the HAF-X (also remove the upgraded Corsair fans but add a 200mm under special requests), opt for the reference Titan and not the SC version and if your not fond of liquid cooling, swap the H100i for the Noctura air cooler. I added the Hydrolux controlling system to give full control over lighting and cooling. This should be a pretty kick ass system that'll chew any game up that you throw at it! It should also be capable of running games on a hi-res display!
Good Luck!

Holy crap guys, those are awesome rigs!! Thanks so much!
fstcvc: I'm planning on playing the most high-end games available; ARMA III, Skyrim, CoC, Far Cry, Crysis, etc., All at max resolutions. Single card with upgradeability is good for me, and it's just going to be used as a gaming system. All my graphic design work is done on my laptop. As far as storage goes, I'd want something Solid State, and maybe up to 540gm of storage. I'm going to take a look at all the systems you guys recommended, so I'll thank you now in advance. I thought you guys were going to mention something along the Bolt series which I've heard so much about, but this is really good stuff. |

Since you are interested in looking at some builds, I'll add one to look at. If I understand the hydrolux control system correctly, the system will idle quietly and increase airflow, and the color of the lighting as the system heats up under load.

Hey Anthony,
It will help some of the knowledgeable people here if you specify your desired resolution instead of just saying max. Are you shooting for 1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1440, or other? Good idea to come here. I will bet that you end up with a killer rig for you purposes. Best, Gregg |

Hey Gregg,
Apologies. Well, the monitor I purchased is 1920x1080, so I suppose nothing more than that. Thanks Gnicky. Out of curiosity, what would be the honest verdict on a Level 4 Bolt? Only reason I ask is that I have limited space (20" D x 23" H). If not I'll find a way to make more room, and go with one of the higher-end models suggested here. Thanks again guys. If space is an issue i'm sure the level 4 bolt would do just fine, the air 540 would work as well since its 16 x 13 x 18
Also the Virtue, Vanquish and Enix would work as well if space is limited. Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 04 Oct 2013 at 4:20am |

All reviews I have seen on the Bolt (check the reviews section) have been excellent. Personally, I'm not a fan of placing the PC in a tight space, especially if the space is on the floor in a dusty area. I just placed a piece of shelving under mine to keep it off of the carpet

Hmm...you have a point. Nice rig too!
Ok then guys and gals....looks like I have a lot of homework to do. It's funny.....but I've gone ahead and purchased everything else (monitor, Keyboard, Mouse) sort of to force me into not backing down on this deal. lol Looks like it's time to pull the trigger. I deserve it! |

@Gnicky.. Love that HafX setup.
AnthonyV.. The Bolt 4 is a real nice setup, able to handle pretty much anything on your 1920x1080 monitor. No single card can max/Ultra all games and stay 60fps, but most it will. The gtx780, for $400 cheaper, is within 10% of the Titan with your setup, so something to consider. The Bolt can be easily upgraded. It can't do a sli setup and it uses a rack-type powersupply and not the standard size, but that's about it. The other cases mentioned do allow more room to work and add-ons. Good Luck.

As already mentioned, the Bolt L4 is an awesome choice especially with limited space. AW777 brought up a few other good options for those with limited space and the Enix is an awesome setup using very little space but giving more room to upgrade than the Bolt. Here's a build similar to the ODE system I built above using the Enix case: 877202 $3166. The other cases mentioned would probably priced near this/slightly more. Tough choices!! Best of Luck!!
