anti virus and firewall, you get a full 30day trial, use the trial first then if you like it purchase the subscription
best anti spyware is spysweeper keep things clean with CCleaner for system info CPU-z for GPU info GPUz will tell you what you got and my clone guide, you can follow my clone guide here and it uses acronis, I have a link for that in my guide |

I actually like Avast! Home version. It is free. Which for me is a plus. It even will do a Boot Time scan if you ask it to. Which helped me find a virus a few years ago. That virus got by my Norton 2003 version. Norton has gotten better that i have heard. But i like my Avast!. |

you can use an internal drive if you like, you just have to make sure that the PC does not boot back to windows after the clone is done, first you have to remove the clone drive then you can boot to windows.
don't put other files to the drive you clone, it will get too complicated. |
