Doesn't look like a benchmark that should be bothered with. It's just some synthetic test that doesn't even take SLI/Crossfire into account, let alone look remotely accurate anyway. It lists a 470 higher than a 590, 6990, and 6970, go figure. ![]() I'd say just look up benchmarks for games you play or are interested in playing. Though in general, I wouldn't say there's much to upgrade to that's worth the price yet. I mean what are the options that are more powerful, a 6970 and 580? Not much gain for the price. Though you have the option of adding another 5870 to run in Crossfire since you have the 1000w Corsair PSU. If you can find another 5870 for a good price that would probably be the best route to take at this time if you want more GPU power. |

Dragoonseal,
I think you are right on all accounts. I did look into getting a 2nd 5870, and the prices are a little high (since it is discontinued). With that said I think I'll sit tight and wait for the next quantum Leap. Thanks Guys for you help. Much appreciated. |

If you hunt around eBay or Amazon.com you can find a bunch of scantly used 5870s for around $280, if you wanted to go that route. If you do, don't forget to get a Crossfire bridge as well, if you don't already have one. |
