Hi..My name is Brian and I live in Okinawa Japan. Im not in the military anymore, but I did serve in the Navy for 7 years. My first ship was the USS KittyHawk and then a tomahawk missle cruiser out of San Diego.
Ive been married for almost 2 years and have no children yet. Right now Im just trying to get use to living in Japan. I swear these people are worst drivers then New York and California combined. And they way they tax the hell out of the people is crazy...they are paying up to $7 a gallon for gas. |

@ Brian-- Do the Japanese tax you $240 a year for having a TV in your house like the British? @ Harley--I liked Ft. Lee. I was there teaching my Air Force brethren how to rig cargo for airdrops. 1 year special duty... It wasn't bad as long as you stayed away from hospital in Petersburg. Too much crime around there... lol...they dont tax for a tv in your home. But they do tax for having a car and most people have to spend $500 on a parking sticker so they can park their cars at their apartments.
The reason for Japan is my wife is from here and when I got out and she finished college we moved here...so I moved here with nothing but found a good job on base here. |

We've got a road tax as well. Depends on the size of the engine in your car. 0-1.9L is like $400 a year, 2.0-2.9 $600, 3.0-3.9 etc... Those costs are on top of sales tax.
I'd be willing to bet the Brits are crazier with the taxing than Japanese.

My name is d catherine "cat" blaine. I was born in gardena, california and lived most of my life in various CA cities. I currently reside in the country in deepwater, missouri.
I spent 5 years as an officer in the U.S. Army and left as a captain. I am VA disabled, but did several years as a music and audio reviewer and audio consultant in between. I built some high end speakers for a couple years under the tutelage of a college professor \ inventor (Stan Marquiss, founder of ESS). I've written for a few high end magazines, reviewing mainly cables, interconnects, amplifiers, speakers and headphones. My music reviews covered alternative rock mostly, altho I'm into punk, heavy metal and hardcore. My pen name was Dayna b. and I spent time with the Audio Adventure, Stereophile and Ultimate Audio. Currently, I spend my time playing with my pets, cooking and gaming. I have 2 doggies( ren and milo), 2 birdies(snowy and skittles), and a sugar glider(scrabble). |

heheheh.. well you know, ask the idiot who's nose I shattered with a nicely placed headbutt on Monday night... :D
I went to school, got a degree in psych. Then in my understudies I learned a lot of tools that are no longer accepted in the field (NLP, Hypnosis, Handwriting Analysis, physiology, etc). Well I think that Handwriting Analysis is still a very valuable and viable tool that should be exercised, not exorcised in the field.
So I have 7 certifications and speak at the annual AHAF (American Handwriting Analyst Federation) Conference. I also get to give my thoughts on some high profile crimes... NDA applies here, of course.
Yeah my S10 is a Chevy S10 LS Xtreme. It's a little badass!
