I ordered an Aventum when they first released, however many years ago that was now. Still waiting on it. Granted I just put "see Alex" down for the payment information, but I didn't think that would be an issue. Big%20Smile

Since you are a well respected Forum member I asked Alex to route your system to me first so that I can verify that it works properly. It is a special option for special people like you!

I will be sure that it passes weeks of hard burn in tests here in my home lab before I certify it as ready for Digital Storm's most highly respected customer.

I am sure by June that it will be ready for that last little FedEx hop to your house from mine!

My stage 8 service is only available to old school Digital Storm customers with street cred. I usually add that little piece of paper like in a pair of new jeans:"Inspected by # 76" as a special treat after my extensive tests are performed.

With DST4ME on Sabbatical, I have taken over the Stage 8 service. I might have to start charging a small stipend in the future due to escalating electric costs.

My offer to assist bprat22 for an appropriate stipend for my services was not a general offer to the rest of you. I am only doing this special deal for him to help out a respected member of the Forum upon his return.

I am available to help others and provide a bespoke custom Stage 8 service but if you have to ask the price you would not be a proper client of mine.

bprat22 is old school and we have to show respect for his former street cred! He deserved the price break I gave him on my custom Stage 8 burn-in service. Matter of fact, I might run tests an extra month just to be sure he gets the best machine possible.

I resent the implication I may not be old school with "street cred"! I'll have you know I may well be the "Senior Member" of old school at 73. As for street cred, I have recently slain 5-(count 'em)-FIVE dragons in Pillars of Eternity. Just because they weren't on the "street" seems of little import.
