Which laptop to choose?!

Hiyas everyone! I am new to the forums here and also to Digital Storm! I have been hesitating for a long time about which laptop to go for!!!

I wavered between Asus RoG series, A------- 17, M-- Dominator, and Digital Storm Harker. I am very convinced to giving Digital Storm a try since I've noticed how amazing the customer service is here!!! Performance isn't my biggest aim but I don't mind getting a computer whose power can last me for years to come!!

My biggest concern is: how good is Harker (level 3)'s heat management/cooling in comparison to these other 3 options?!? How loud is the fan when it runs on heavy application/games? Would a cooling mat help? Is the screen IPS? It didn't mention anywhere that it is IPS so I was wondering about that! I really like the design of the laptop, it's very colorful on the keyboard!

Hi Apple.. I'm not a laptop guy, but can say it does have an IPS screen. It's built off the Sager 9778 if you want to Google it.

Can't help with the other questions so I help this points you in the right direction.

I bought a Behemoth laptop last year. It was the biggest and baddest at the time. 2x980Ms in SLI. Whoo doggies yup it puts out the heat when gaming. I have a cooling pad with 3 fans and my computer room is a cool 72F. Never overheated yet. Did get the extra thermal compound.

I have an IPS screen.

I sit next to a quite large computer with 11 fans running.
My laptop? When my "cube" is turned off I can't hear a dang thing from the laptop. Quiet

Colorful? Yes they are.

The company that rhymes with Hell and has    computers? Yeah I was loyal to that company for many, many years. Bought a laptop. Customer service was the absolute worst I have ever had when that laptop stopped working a day after I bought it. And it was NOT a cheap laptop either. Had to get my AG and BBB involved to have replace it.

I have bought 5 computers from DS (all our working fine). Customer service is fabulous and so is the wonderful people on these forums with answering questions.

I purchased a Krypton nearly two years ago now, and it only gets a bit noisy when gaming with the fans.  There's going to be fan noise whenever you game on a laptop, but as long as you open it up and dust it regularly, you shouldn't have it happen performing other tasks other than CPU-intensive ones like video encoding.

Can't speak to the IPS panel on the Harker.  Right now I'd actually prefer the Banshee over the Harker because of that sweet, desktop-class GPU, a true 980 and not a mobile part.  If you can swing it, I recommend it, especially if you want to play recent games at ultra-rez.
