WHICH SATA POWER CABLE TO USE?

So I was just planning to add a secondary hard drive onto my Vanquish 5 PC but im not quite sure which sata power cable should I use from the pc's back panel. I opened the back panel of the pc and I saw a sata power cable connected to the main hard drive and it has a another sata power cable hanging from it via split (Basically one main cable from the psu but splits into two cables which is one of the other is already connected and there's the other one free) I'm not sure if I'm suppose to use that that's why I'am here at the forums to reach out for you PC experts out there :) Thanks in advance and I appreciate you having the time to read through my article

Yup, that pig tailed SATA power cable should work fine for you.

So I can use the same split cable which is already connected to the main hard drive ?

Hi there it's me again. So I totally messed up and thought that the pig tailed sata power cable is free to use but as a matter of fact not for the reason it won't reach the hard drive. Now I'm troubled which sata power cable should I buy or use and where do I connect it? Should I get a sata power cable extension? Because logically that's what I've been thinking

The easiest fix is to add an extension. Don't have any idea why that would not work but............would not be the first time I'm corrected. Chilling
