My dad told me that his friend said that the the card he picked out for my build is better but I am not really sure I think DST4ME's pick is better but just to be sure

The one my dads friend picked out: 2x SLI Dual (Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 512 MB)

Versus DST4ME's pick: 1x Nvidia GeForce GTX 295 1.792 GB I think this one is better but my dad's friend says he thinks his choice is better but I just want to re assure my dad that this choice is :l Sorry for the dumb question. Dead Big%20smile

well tell your dad here is 9800gtx+ vs the 295 in crysis






does he still think the 9800 gt sli can out perform a 260+ sli (295 gtx)?

yup go for the single card then you wont have to deal with Nvidia's lousy driver suport for SLi.

The 295 also is greener then some combos for the price/performance ratio in regards to power use because of the smaller chip format.
