go with an EVGA x58
EVGA GTX 295

that should carry all you need on it, and the 295 will give you the power of 2 cards in one pci slot.

if you are going to be at 1440 by 900 and will not be going up in resolution in the next year, then just go with a single GTX 285.

The killer m1 NIC card is a waste of your money, its no magic, if it worked we would all be getting it, you don't think I'm gonna spend around $6000 on a LCed PC and then all of a sudden become a cheapskate when it comes to my beloved LAN card, do you?

Not getting it cause it won't make a jack cheese difference.

I agree with DS, EVGA GTX 295 is the best choice to opt

Agree also.  I am building mine, and was originally going to go with a gtx 285, then add another down the road.  But it actually cheaper and about as good a performer for the single 295.  PLUS, less power consumption.  You can run the 295 for a lot less power requirements than 2 285 cards.  That price tag will only hurt once...lol  Whereas adding a second 285 will hurt down the road.
