I purchased windows 8 (before price increase) along with the logitech T650 touchpad. Ran compatibility check for windows 8 and got " Your processor doesn't have NX turned on or might not support NX" My cpu is an Intel I7 extreme 965. Setup of windows will attempt to turn on NX, if the processor does not support NX installation will be cancelled. Does my CPU have "NX" as in can I run Windows 8? Also cpu is OCed @ 3.8. Will I lose the OC?

Hi Caymus....  I don't know, but it's motherboard dependant and here's a Asus link that lists the mobo's and others with drivers to fix it.
 
Click Intel Platform tab.
 
 
If its compatable, usually in Bios under the Security tab you'll see where you can turn on NX or Xd.

Thanks brat22, it seems the short answer is my MB does not support windows 8. I have an Asus rampage 111 extreme. According to Asus they have no drivers or updates to support windows 8

Looks like no update prior to Rampage 4.  Win8 is a love / hate thing, so maybe you lucked out.  Hahaha
 
I haven't tried Win 8, so can't say.

True, I was up in the air about win8 ... purchased a copy mostly due to the price increase in Feb. Side note I read that all drivers are in windows 8 so it looks like I could upgrade (lack of a better word) if I want to. I want to play around with the t650 touch pad a windows 8 so I'll put it on one fo the machines here.
