wierd temperatures

so today i ran a 3 hour PCmark burn test and i was given these results from everest's monitoring system:
The core temps seem to be what i would expect... however what is this "CPU" temp that is so atrociously high!?

in other random news, i was tinkering with the case a little because im planning to mod it a bit, and when i disconected the fan from the side of the case, it started quick LOUD rapid beeps
 
any idea what this means?

The temp looks like your graphics card which isn't abnormal. The beeps are probably a case security warning. "Hey man, somebody just stole your battery, I say we go get the Censored"

hahaha
the only reason i thought the case beeps were odd was the fact that i know ive done that before and it did not happen, maybe its a bios setting that i overlooked, i have a manual coming so ill look then
 
Im acually planning on a small project to beef the cooling of the LITE case up a bit, ill post some ideas and pictures later
has anyone else tried this? (i dont know if the "LITE" case is DSO only or not but i have not seen it anywhere elseCry)
