Wait a few days for the next gen Nvidia cards.
The extra cores you're paying for won't do anything for you. Get a 10700K Intel, it's 10% faster. Don't try to game above 1080p.

I Agree with Cretae. For those frame rates you will want to stay at 1080p and go with the 10700K. I have the 3900x with a 2080Ti in my current rig and game at 3440x1440 and with games like COD: MW I average around 115-120 FPS on Ultra but with games like MSFS20 I get 40-50 FPS lol (it seems to be the new Crysis lol). Intel still has the edge in gaming and the higher clock speeds of intel will help at 1080p where the CPU matters more than at higher resolutions. Sorry for my rant I haven't had my morning coffee yet..
