Well new build includes windows 10
Wish windows 7 was still supported but OS must go on. Saying that I have been reading up on Windows 10 and with everything I have read Microsoft wants to know everything we do. I mean everything. So for those of you who don't know or would like to have a little less prying into your business. I recommend https://www.safer-networking.org/spybot-anti-beacon/ have it run on every start. Windows will revert its setting back when updating your PC. |

Don't make the mistake in thinking this will keep you safe and anonymous. Windows 10 leaks ip information even when using VPN. An interesting read. https://www.vpnmentor.com/blog/ip-leaks-how-to-check-vpn/
Had it not been for Windows 10, I would have upgraded this year. The prospect of a dual boot Win 10 /Linux system (win 10 for games/Linux for everything else) is enough of a pain for me to put it off until I am forced. The system I have now probably has another 2 years of gaming. Man DS make a good system. Enjoy your new rig. |

With all due respect you guys are wasting your time, your isp knows everything we do, this is the age of info, and your info is taken from every second you use a device, be it pc, tablet, phone etc. VPN can keep you safe to an extent but you would need one that is in a country that is out of reach of the govt, the problem with those is that since they are out of reach of you/govt then they can do whatever they want with your info and can't be trusted either. You can use proxies and vpn and keep in the shadows for certain things to a certain extent, but as complete anonymity goes as they say forged aboud id
Have a read here also so get both sides also never just go by a website that is writing about its own product, creditable 3rd party that is neutral is best source most times. |

Limiting Sir.. Just limiting ..
no need in my machine sending telemetry while I'm trying to use. I use another PC with TOR and Linux for my private activities [ and yes I understand Iron Geek has taught me plenty] Good to see you back in forums Edited by FR3SHM3AT - 20 Aug 2017 at 5:33am |

TOR is good but even that can be cracked but I doubt you/average user are doing anything that is worth the trouble of tracking tor lol.
Thank for the welcome, I drop by when I can, it's great to see everyone 🙆♂️ |
