I was considering a new DS system but because of a death in the family - our main TV LOL, I have now settled on upgrading my current DS computer. The upgrade will be to add a SSD and go to Windows 7. Currently I am using WinXP 32-bit. My question is - if I add an SSD drive to my computer making it my C: drive and moving my current drive to D: drive, when I install Windows 7 64-bit on the SSD will it pick up all my games and applications from my old C: drive now D: so I do not have to reinstall everything I have? I could then just delete my old WinXP directory from the D; drive to make more room.

Most of the stuff will not work, the only games that will work are the ones that don't use regkeys, everything else will have to be reinstalled.
