If this is just a Gaming Rig playing the latest games, would I need Windows 7 Pro? (i.e WoW, SC2, D3, GW2, etc)
 
Are there any games that are known not to work in Windows 7 Home???

games shouldn't be a issue, it more for apps and such.

the bonus to pro is that it is backwards compatible and home basic isn't. it depends on your needs really for what you get. we always recommend pro sicne the users have more freedom to do as they please. also the upgrade is pretty cheap and for many it is worth it.

it gives you xp mode if that is not wroth $30 then stay with home.
