Hello.
My name is Christopher hill. I am currently modifying my build so I can order a computer from DS. But there are a few things that I am not sure of what to choose. Since my budget is around 2800$, I feel that I should consider Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. So my question is, as for gaming or other stuff that I might need: Does Ultimate have any thing that makes it worth paying that extra for? Especially for gaming, is what I am thinking. In other words: Windows 7 Ultimate or just the regular Home? Thank you, Christopher. |

if you want xp support then go with pro, if not then go with premium, for gaming you have no need for ultimate.

Windows 7 Pro has XP support built in. For the vast majority of us Window 7 Home Premium is the way to go. Businesses that have programs that will only run in a XP environment will have to get the Windows 7 Pro in order to allow the older XP dependent programs to still run.
