I am planning on purchasing Maruader Lvl 4 at the end of the month and I am wondering if I should stick to Windows 7 or go with Windows 8 Pro.
Has anyone performance tested this system build using Windows 8 and does it perform better or worse then Windows 7. Or does Windows 8 add another level of frustration to getting things setup on a new system that I would better off to avoid. :) Regards. |

For me,a gaming machine and no touch screen, there is no reason today to switch over to Windows 8. Windows 8 was built on Windows 7 and has some really nice file handling improvements. It is still in its growing stages and some have reported problems with drivers not working correctly or at all. Since Windows 8 is the new kid, it will be supported longer over all. Windows 7 will become like Windows XP currently is now.
