Is it a group of updates? If so, try downloading/installing them individually to see if it is a specific update that is causing the issue.

must be the microsoft .net framework ones because the others installed without an issue, i'll give it a go one more time and if the .net ones won't install i won't worry with them

So i only have 4 updates left 3 Security updates microsoft .net framework and 1 regular update for microsoft .net framework

So the security updates are causing the BSOD as well?

Try with loading BIOS defaults to see if might be your overclock that is causing it.

So just to be sure i just go into BIOS and load defaults and it turns the overclock off right?

I'll turn off the overclock in the morning then i'll try to install the updates.

Yep, loading defaults will remove the overclock. Just be sure you have a profile of your OC saved in case that isn't the issue.

So i loaded defaults and apparently i think the overclock was off to begin with because this is what Cpu-z says. My computer does seem a little faster than it was before, maybe a little too fast.

Ok i think overclock is off now because it seems like the core speed went down and i'm leaving it the way it is

I think that is not a bad idea. That voltage of 1.384 seems pretty high although you have a higher overclock than I do.

Mine is under 1.3(1.288) at 4.2 GHz.

I might call DS and see about getting a stable overclock.

Every CPU and overclock is going to be different. Some chips can be more stable at lower voltage than others. However, 1.384v is nothing to be alarmed about, it's perfectly within CPU specs.
