I am going to have to order a system with a wireless card installed.
Does this mean that when i go back to using wired connection i will
need to replace with another card? Or will there still be a way to plug
in a network cable?

No you won't need another card for a wire connection. Most motherboards, if not all, come with a network jack.

The 680i SLI motherboard has two 10/100/1000 Megabit Ethernet ports on it. I believe that the SLI LT motherboard may only have one. If you have a wireless NIC in the computer, you could use the wired and the wireless connections simultaneously. The OS has to be configured properly to do this of course, but it's no big deal.
