Hey everyone,
I just got a Digital Storm computer about a month ago and I am having trouble connecting to the net with a wireless router. My computer specs are core i7 920 and evga x58 motherboard. The wireless router I'm using is a Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless G Router. I'm also running Vista Premium 64.My old Dell computer had wireless capabilities (i just plugged the wireless router in and it recognized it) With my new computer when I plug it in nothing happens and under network connections nothing appears. Maybe this computer doesn't support wireless? (maybe I need a wireless network card?). I'm not sure but I would think with a wireless router it would work fine as my older computer did. Can anyone who knows about this motherboard let me know if using a wireless router is possible, as I think I've tried everything. Maybe I'm not doing something right? Thanks for the help guys! How is your router suppose to communicate with your desktop?
you need a wireless card or you can use a usb wireless card so the router has something to use to communicate with your PC. |

If you don't have the wireless card tho the software/drivers are pointless
once you have a wireless card on the DS box then you can install the stuff HM is talking about
good luck
