"Order has been processed. Your order is currently going through our pre-inventory assignment. Afterwards, our production cycle will start for your order."

Hello!  I recently ordered a new PC from DSO, and thought I'd just drop in to say Hi to the community.

System Configuration:
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos (Aluminum Edition)
Power Supply: 750W SilverStone Olympia (Dual SLI Compatible) (Model: OP750) (Silent)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (1066MHz FSB) (8MB Cache)
Motherboard: nVidia 680i LT Core 2 Quad (By: eVGA) (nForce 680i SLI)
Memory: 2GB DDR2 Corsair at 800MHz XMS2 (Dual Channel) (Performance)
Hard Drive 1: 320GB Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA)
Optical Drive 1: DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 20x / CD-Writer 48x) (LightScribe Edition)
Video Card: 2x SLI Dual (nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB (By: eVGA) (PCI-Express)
Cooling: Air Cooled Stage 2 (Silent Artic Cooling Heat-sink (Copper Heatpipes)
Overclock Processor: Yes, Overclock the processor as much as possible with complete stability
Overclock Video Card: Yes, Overclock the video card(s) as much as possible with complete stability
Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Keyboard: Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard

Here's to hoping that I get along with Vista.  I've been in the "pre-inventory" stage for a few days now, whatever that means.  From the reviews on the boards here, it sounds like it's worth the wait.

You may want to consider liquid cooling in that Cosmos case. Specially with two 8800GT's. That card is known to run hot. Either that, or go with a different case. Feel free to call us if you want to go over your options. I'm not saying that it won't work in the cosmos case, but heat will always be an issue.

Thanks for the heads up on this, and thanks, Kelly, for helping me change around my configuration (twice!).

Ended up going with the TJ09 case instead of the Cosmos.
Also bumped up the motherboard to the A1 revision, and changed to the 1066 Dominator RAM (OC'ed with fan).

Does the 1066 ram come default with a faN?

That's what I'm using.  Good set-up.

No, you'll have to select the option to OC your memory to get the fan. If you have good airflow you shouldn't need the fans.
