No.. on a pallet. These bad boys can weigh over a hundred pounds. It will be strapped and moved via pallet jack and forklift. Way too heavy for normal gorilla hands in the freight houses.

When you do get it, make certain that you examine the box for visible damage very carefully and not just "gimme gimme gimme' when the driver shows up.

lol! The reason I asked was because Linus got his shipped to him in a crate but then I figured, that's Linus! Of course his is shipped in a wooden crate of splendor! Still, gimmi gimmi gimmi! Lmfao!

Well, I paid extra for the freight shipping, strapped to a pallet, and it still showed up damaged.

Estes was the carrier and on delivery day, I watched the driver pull it out from the back of his truck, NOT strapped to a pallet. I have no idea when Estes took the PC from the pallet, probably from the get go!

I can only imagine wanting to take it outside for cleanings...

What did you do when you saw the box was damaged? Did you have them return it or they just note it down?
