What's the normal delivery time from CA to NY?

Was about a week from CA to MA Cougar, I think roughly 6 business days if everything goes well.

Just Curious, when did you place your order?
I cant' wait for my system, it's been in stage 1 for a while.
What is stage 2 anyways? Testing phase?

I ordered on 12/4/07. They've been backed up due to the holidays. Stage 2 is installing OS, drivers and stress testing of the system according to the email I got.

Depending on your system, I can tell you this time of year they, as well as every specialty builder of anything custom, is going to be slammed!
I will tell you that when you do get closer to shipping, spring for the 3 day or over night business day shipping. It gets to you much quicker and it passes through less hands and sits in less transfer facilities. Mine was overnight buisness day shipped and it arrived with out a single shipping related issue.
Other wise, standard shipping will be like 6 business days to you. Thats what it would have been for mine to Florida.
