i am reading an awful lot of dead 570 cards from mild over clocks around the place. My rig is in stage 3, perhaps I should have them go with the 560 instead? I read nothing but praise about that card and its ability to OC.
So does anything else think there are issues with 570's? Am i worried over nothing ? DS guys, have you seen a higher than usual number of 570's failing ? |

I don't see a high failure rate here for them. Don't worry, we stress-test, and benchmark the cards extensively before we ship the units. You'll receive a solid high-quality card from us.

Also with OC problems, since we dont' know the users, we can't distinguish user fault from hardware fault if you will, but as Alex said, we have not seen any problems on the forum either.

Running EVGA superclocked settings right now on a reference card, maybe higher, I dunno, no problems. Can't seem to modify voltages via Afterburner though.
DS runs stress tests on their cards though, including Furmark, which stresses the crud out of your GPU. If it passes DS's suite, it should be very well stable. Edited by ablahblah - 19 Apr 2011 at 5:08pm |
