My question is simple would 2000mhz RAM be worth it? Or would I be better off getting 1333mhz? Thanks in advance.

no matter what the difference is minimal, you know what the difference in file compression is between 667MHz ram and 1600MHz?
667MHz = 31.8/s 1600MHz = 32.8/s so in compression the 667 is actually faster, lets look at video transcodeing 667MHz = 122.1 1600MHz = 122.6 timing will make the difference in other things then gaming, so in gaming the 1600MHz is faster by 5fps except in crysis, in crysis its faster by like 20fps but that is the only game like that. now when you consider the above, you pretty much will see the same effect between 1333 and 2000MHz, the 1333MHz will have much better timings, Mushkin has got some great timings at 1333MHz. |

Would one see a huge improvement in game performance going from 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 to 2000mhz 7-8-7-20? |

mostly my decision to even look at the 2000 RAM is to make the total price of my computer over $3500 so i can get a better discount.

@wiacekc, in games you would see better results yes but like 5fps, with the 920 you best go with 1333.
@DS, with the old platform, you needed to have higher ram to get higher OC but now in days, that is not a matter anymore, not to mention that even a multiplier of 8 with 1333MHz ram can get you to 5.3GHz so even if you still had FSB and wanted to match it with ram, 1333 would have been enough. |

Bleh...5fps for almost 600 smackaroos... I guess its not really worth it, I might upgrade in the future when the prices come down. |

or better yet when they have better timings, having said that, I'm going with the 2000MHz myself, but that is just preference, the same with 965.

drop the raptor and go with a 500GB right now, once the vertex 2 comes out, see what the prices for it look like and then decide if you want to upgrade to a veloci or the vertex 2 and puch the 500GB to HDD2
other then that, you build looks great |

Is it true that a 32 bit system can only use three to four gigs of RAM? If so, how much does the 64 bit recognize?

32bit can use 4GB of ram total, that includes the GPU ram.
a 64 bit can handle up to 128GB, vista 64bit home premium does 16GB |
