I'm extremely new to PCs, and have been playing WoW Classic off of a MacBook. I've been putting a lot of time into the game, and want to invest in a rig that'll run it flawlessly, with streaming capabilities. Are premade Lynx's the way to go given WoW Classic isn't a very graphics intensive game? While it suffice to stream as well

Budget:
$1,200-$1,300 (including Windows 10 and monitor

Expectations:
Being able to stream and play WoW Classic at the highest settings.

Usage:
WoW Classic Playing + Streaming

Any ideas?

The question I have for you is do you know that you won't be playing games in the next 3-5 years that won't need (or look better) in a larger system, or is WoW it?

A Lynx Level 3 would be ideal for what you want on a 1080p (Hi-Def) monitor. You would not have to be concerned about upgrading a thing for several years no matter the game.

A Lynx Level 2 would do the job, but you may be looking to upgrade the RAM and the video card relatively soon for future needs.

If you are looking for a monitor, DS offers a very serviceable model here in the ASUS 24 inch VP248QG (75Hz Refresh) 1920x1080 at $139.

Thank you! Actually ordered the Level 3 this morning. If I plan on running a dual-monitor setup (they would have different refresh rates), would that impact my decision? One monitor (low refresh) for productivity/streaming and the other for gameplay

Congratulations and welcome to DS. Awesome
There will be no issues with different monitors with different refresh rates or resolutions. I have a 2k and 1800 resolution monitors hooked up to 1 card. There is more area to cover so there might be some degradation but it will depend on the resolution of the monitors.
Good luck and enjoy.Big%20Smile
