Problem with my X15 DC-in jack. Laptop will not charge.

Has anyone successfully replaced this part?
Any tricks on taking laptop apart?
How did you do it?
Where do I source part?

Out of Warranty and I would rather not $$ replace motherboard.

Sorry to hear.

It could be a few things, maybe just a bad charger which would be not too bad of a repair. A new battery could fix it too.

It might be worthwhile to talk to our team and have it come in for repairs so we can really figure what is going on.

Alex brought up 2 good do-it-yourself type of fixes. If it's anything beyond that, and unless your very skillful at repairing a laptop motherboard, I'd leave it to the professionals... Good Luck!
