I've narrowed my selection for my next PC to the following:

Gigabyte GA-EX58-EXTREME Motherboard

or

EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 X58 3-Way SLI Core i7 Motherboard with Tri-Channel DDR3 and Tuning Utility

You can find either board on newegg or amazon, among other resellers.

I've been reading reviews on other Mobo, like the ASUS Rampage II and poeple have been saying that the layout of the baord doesn't work well with tri SLI and is simply poorly deisgned- anyone care to elaborate on that?  I also read a site that said the evga board has trouble supporting ram at speeds beyond 1333, but that there might be a future BIOS update that would fix this, any thoughts?

I plan on building a new PC in December...

ASUS Rampage II is the best X58 board you can buy. 2nd place goes to the PT6.

They are made to accept both CrossFire and SLI. All X58's are going to perform roughly the same with GPU performance given the fact they are all using the same chipset.
