Decent article, shows how close the two platforms are with games, but the X58 is still ahead, just by a little.

well if the socket 1156 is gonna be discontinued after this then its a no brainer, x58 ftw, cause you can upgrade the cpu down the road

P55 would be a good idea if you're not looking to spend tons of money and wont be upgrading for 3 years or so.
