Hi,
I'm a pc gamer but I love the xbox 360 controller. I'm thinking of getting an xbox 360 wireless controller for my pc. The wireless controller is like $60 and comes with one controller and a wireless receiver that plugs into a USB port. If I want to play a 2 player game do I need to get another wireless controller with wireless receiver or can I just use one of my regular xbox 360 wireless controllers as the second? Thanks |

I'm pretty sure you can use up to 4 wireless controllers using 1 wireless PC receiver. I recall reading about this when I was looking at adding one to my computer.

Yep, you can pair 4 controllers with one receiver.

Can someone please clear this up? In many of the Youtube videos published over the last few weeks many reviewers have cited that wireless PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers are compatible with OUYA. Can someone verify this please? Here's my hesitations:
1) Xbox 360 Wireless Controller technology is proprietary only to Microsoft 2) PS3 controllers are bluetooth and can be paired very easily with a USB Cable 3) The only way I knew of to get Xbox 360 controllers working wirelessly with a PC was with the USB wireless accessory. Is this required for operation with the OUYA? I'd like to get all the facts straight before assuming I have plenty of controllers ready to go. Thanks! |

I had an XBox360 Wireless Controller. A resistor failed that was a common problem with the receiver. If you did a search for a replacement, you could only find a Chinese fake. Instead of purchasing another wireless controller just to get the receiver, I went back to the wired XBox 360 controller. Since the wireless controller was still good, I gave it to my nephew for his XBox.

belaflek73. I have the Microsoft wireless game controller and love it!!!
Also I have a Steam account with a crap load of games on it.
A few of my gaming friends have XBox controllers and Microsoft like me. We play when we can get the time on my system and using Steam or just my games. The wireless works great with the two, three or sometimes four of us. But we use my friends XBox 360 plugged into my rig so we can play with 4. Getting ready to buy Castle Crashers because hopefully this weekend I can have some friends over. Ah the smell of pepperoni and the call of gamers "Idiot" reverberating through the house. I am using my controller now for the game Bastion and it is so fun!
