I almost always keep my laptop plugged in to its charger and I am concerned about the whole battery degradation issue. If I leave my laptop plugged in with the battery removed will there be any performance difference compared to leaving my laptop plugged in with the battery attached?
Thanks |

If you leave your laptop plugged in without the battery and with the battery, there is no performance difference. If you have your laptop plugged in without the battery, you may lose the data when there's a power outage. If you're doing something important, you should have the battery attached just in case or you'll be ![]() I mainly use my laptop plugged in with the battery attached, but so far, it only has degraded about 3% after a year of use. If there is no outlet available, then I'll use the battery. |
