Gulftown is the old platform, the current quad core eats it up why would you want he old platform? also there is the new highend 6 core cpu coming out oct/nov.

you are not going to nor would you want to oc a Gulftown to 5GHz, unless you want to buy a new Gulftown cpu in a year.

I have never seen that res on a small monitor like that, are the tow 8800 giving you what you need in gaming?
