Hello. I have been driving myself crazy going over and over different configurations for a rig I want to put together a.s.a.p. I know just enough to get myself into trouble, but I know less then I need to know to insure I do the right thing. Hence I am here with questions for the informed masses.
I have about $3000 - $3500 to spend.
The use for this computer will be approximately as follows:
35% - 3-d graphics rendering (ZBrush, Lightwave, Poser, Bryce, etc)
35% - Gaming (I am not pro-gamer, I just enjoy having fun and want a good ride)
10% - Photoshop
10% - Internet
10% - Productivity apps (word processing, etc)
I also would like the system to have plenty of expandability (such as adding a second video card, more memory, etc)
After a million passes, here is what the latest looks like.
Could any of y'all take a look and offer some advice? I would so appreciate it.
