There were some people (or persons) that were talking about how 48 PCI-e lanes was stupid or a waste or whatever it was. We got into a small debate where I stated I think it's a great idea, especially with the rise of nVME drives.

Looks like I was on the same line of thinking that intel was on (though it wasn't officially announced just yet).

lol, on another note, we knew they were going to be providing 4 more lanes on the z270 line of motherboards (really the 200 series chipset, just wasn't sure which of them would get the bump) because of intels Optane storage.

And, we'll never know for sure, bprat. When I went to pm you and it got like 20 views before you ever replied, rumor had it you just have like 20 accounts and/or proxies. So it could have been you.
