Just curious as to how much air these fans move and to how much louder it would be if you were to replace the side panel 230mm fan with four of these

it moves a bit more air, and it will be a bit louder, by how louder exactly? not sure what to tell you. but uless you are in a room where the temp is at 80c and above, I doubt you need it.

You will get more air flow from the four fans, but, they will also come along with extra noise.
 
Basically, the extra fans make the side panel twice as loud and do increase the air-flow a good bit.

So..... if your computer is 20 feet away then your good to go with the extra fans, but if your computer is right next to you... then you might wanna keep fan noise to a minimum...Smile

they are noisy, but not as noisy as the graphics card fan. i have the 4870x2 and the thing is a hurricane
