Wow.
That computer is insane! And those pictures are incredible, definitely a work of art. Your setup is really cool as well, love those glass desks and the triple monitors. Congratulations on your computer, can't wait to read the review. |

Its not stupid. I just updated a Black Sheep thread with graphics.. I keep working on mine too. I understand totally. I'm really not sure how my fans came about -- they might have been painted. I have a terrible memory.

I thought of that to I found this realy awsome red metalic spray paint I was going to buy and try it on some extra fans here in the photos i seen the paint makes the stuff realy awsome red metalic with a hint of glitter then if they turned out I was going to ask DS if I could remove and paint the six fans so no warrenty would be broken for making the change do you guys think this is my best rout since the fans in here do controll the heat

If they are standard 120mm fans you could check out Corsair's high performance static pressure radiator fans. I have a couple of these in my own build and they perform really well, and look good.
I can't imagine that they wouldn't be able to handle the heat since they are designed for liquid cooling radiators. Although they aren't metallic they do have red accents. Painting your fans is another alternative to get the look you want. I don't think it would affect the warranty, but not sure. Best to ask DS though. |

Zend looks like one of your ram sticks is not locked in. On one of your pictures the white ram tab closest to motherboard red reset button doesnt look right. The white tab should be vertical or straight up . VERY nice rig !!!!!!! Congrats.

If you want to change the fans, it's not an easy task to be honest. I would imagine the Corsair AF140 will work and they look really nice. However, doing this will require you to unscrew the fans, etc...

For radiator fans I wouldn't recommend the Corsair AF series. The SP series fans offer almost 4 times the static pressure compared to the AFs. However if only 140mm fans would work than the AF140s would probably work decently.
This would also require rewiring the new fans to the fan controller or motherboard (where do the Aventum fans connect to?) in addition to screwing and unscrewing the fans and making sure that they work well enough with the temps. Personally I think that the fans look fine as is. The customization you did to the chassis, window, and hardware is already very impressive. You can't really see the fans with the side panel on anyways. However if it's what you want then go for it. Just some thoughts. Edit: Just saw your last post. Sounds like a bunch of exciting work left to do. Edited by DomTheBomb - 19 Dec 2012 at 4:55pm |

if it comes down to it I will leave the fans alone if its going to be more of a problem to change I will just leave them alone
one of the ideas I had was just to paint them a red metalic then I know for sure they will work with the temps because they are still the same fans are the fans in the Aventum that hard to change I mean my briother has all the tools and does biuld computers but yes he never worked on one like this I rather live with out then damage the computer and I wouldnt want to void my warrenty I just strongly feel they should be red lol and im guessing the whole thing would have to come out to even just change or paint the blades right I will go by what you guys ay though if you sya I shouldnt mess with them and not change or paint them I wont I trust you all and I know you know more then me like said not worth risking damage if thats what you think might happen the most impotent thing is how it works not how it looks the looks is just eye candy it dosnt make my computer faster or stronger haha I will never do anything to this rigg with out DS blessing and even your guys say so you guys are the experts im a guy who cant remember how he woke up lol do you see anything wrong with the other changes by chance or am I good to go on those and you have to exscuse me ever since the cancer and other illness to to it I do go everboard thinking stuff has to be excactly what I see in my head the fans are not bad the way they are it just wasnt what I seen in my mind when desighning it edit also can you help me with this Alex suggested a shot of UV dye the coolant I have right now is clear does someone know the best stuff I should use or where to order this from want something that people have used and is safe for the computer I dont know how the chro-tech realy works so it needs to be safe for the Aventum

My guess would be to change the fans wouldn't be too difficult if you have all the tools and some time, I'm sure if you emailed DS they could give you a rundown on how to do it. I wish I could help more but sadly I don't have an Aventum.
I really like the ideas you have, especially the mirror idea, that's going to look awesome, however I'm not sure if another SSD or 32GB of RAM is really needed. SSDs are so fast that having a few background programs running while you game isn't going to slow it down significantly. I guess it depends on what programs you'll be running while you're gaming. As for the RAM unless you're doing some serious video editing 16GB should be more than enough, especially when its 2400MHz dominator platinum. Those memory sticks do look sick though. Love the look of Corsair's memory. |

Agreed.
I also wish they offered 200mm AF fans. There just aren't many 200mm fans out there that are great quality. Corsair really nailed it with the quality, looks, and performance of their fans. |

On the dye.
From what I've read dye can gunk up the system and stain the inside of the blocks. I'd ask around more -- not my area of expertise. Regards, Xii |

Dye gunkiness over the long term is highly dependent upon brand.

That's why we offer colored tubing options. The tubing itself is UV reactive. Red is not a good UV reactive color, green and yellow are the best usually.
Even if you add a dye to the liquid, it will not show up as much because the tubs are not clear, they are red. |

Zend could you take a picture of your water reservoirs. I have not seen one aventum showing the reservoirs. Curious to see what they look like. A window needs to be cut to show the reservoirs and fluid level without taking off the side panel.

I decided to go with blue dye and it's not for the tubing even though in a year or two would like to switch to clear tubing, it's for the video card water blocks if you see in the pic below they are see though
the other pics you wanted will do a little latter I have to resize them to fit they will be up sometime thursday will put a few up and a few new pics |
