Not a parts list. Scene interaction, a render in progress, and a simulation with its caches and comp open in one session.

Engineered for the overnight render,
and the day that follows it.
Cooling, power delivery, and component selection planned for work that runs all night, with a 72-hour full-load burn-in before shipment.
- Configured for your production workflowYour applications, render engine, and scene demands guide the CPU, graphics, memory, and storage choices.
- Built for sustained workloadsAirflow, cooling, and power delivery are planned together to support long rendering and simulation sessions.
- Planned with upgrades in mindWe explain the memory, graphics, and expansion options available in your chosen platform.
Trusted by studios and production teams.
Digital Storm has built high-performance systems in California since 2002, and today builds 3D, animation and rendering workstations for individual artists and studios.

Find the right workstation.
Choose your workflow to compare starting configurations and prices. See what each option is designed to handle and where additional investment can help.

What kind of work will this system handle?
Choose the closest match. We use it to suggest where to start.
One object with production texture maps sits comfortably on a 16 GB card. A GPU renderer works from graphics memory, so the card is sized to the scene first.
A starting point. Your renderer, assets and settings decide the final figure.

- Holds in memory. 64GB of system memory for product stills and look development, 16GB of graphics memory.
- Memory matched to the work. Graphics memory for the scene, system memory for caches and what sits beside.
- A GeForce card where it fits. Where Autodesk certifies, as for Maya, we say which of ours is listed.
Where to save: the professional premium. A GeForce card is the right card at this size.
Workstations to consider.
Every 3D and rendering workstation we build, sorted by price. The lowest-cost one that holds your pick is marked. Customize and buy any of them online, or ask for a quote and we confirm the details for your projects.

What published scenes need from the card.
Size the card to the scene first. On a scene that fits, the RTX 5090 renders at about 90% of the RTX PRO 6000’s speed in Blender’s own benchmark; the professional cards add memory, not speed.

Get a system built for your workload.
Tell us what you run. A systems engineer replies with a configuration and pricing in one business day.
Buying with a purchase order.
- Send the PO against our quote, with your tax-exemption certificate if your organization has one. Net 30 terms, subject to approval.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days. Each one is itemized and lists the warranty terms.
- We send a W-9, complete supplier portal forms and are registered on SAM.gov.
- Ordering through a prime contractor or reseller? We quote to them.
- Give us an earlier order or quote number and we price the same configuration, naming the parts that have changed.
- A 5% academic discount for universities and academic research organizations, or 5% off three or more identical systems. The two do not combine.
Why studios choose Digital Storm.
DIY fits when you have the hours to build and support it. A render farm fits when a deadline needs more nodes than one studio owns. An OEM tower fits when IT mandates a fleet vendor. Here is the comparison for the rest.

We know scene work
from final frames.
The two halves of a 3D pipeline want different machines. Here is how we tell them apart.
