Just wondering if we are able to select other graphics cards other than the founders edition. I will be purchasing within the next few weeks and these other cards look delicious lol

True, but there is also difference in cooling with aftermarket cards. Also you're the first person that suggests the reference card over the aftermarket haha

I am pretty sure he was suggesting the standard clocked ACX cooler or the Superclocked version over the FTW. EVGA has gotten very regimented with the binning of the processors and will stick the better ones on the more expensive boards. However, since the standard ACX and Superclocked cards come on reference design boards (they still have EVGA logos on them, so EVGA has custom silkscreening of the PCB at least), I'm not sure if they are binning these boards at all. They most surely are binning the FTW, Classified, and K|ngp|n cards and will put the better processors on the Classified cards and the best on the K|ngp|n cards.

In the past, I always recommended EVGA due to their warranty and customer service. Their customer service still reigns supreme for Nvidia cards (XFX for AMD). However, Motherboard recently posted this article explaining manufacturers cannot prevent or preclude usage of aftermarket components in "tying agreements". This means that Asus cannot void your warranty because you replace the stock cooler with an aftermarket one, including water blocks without showing beyond a doubt that the cards was damaged because of your change. But, you may need to go to court over it, so whether it is worth your time, effort, and fronting of the money is another thing.

I suggested the evga vanila(stock) not the reference card, reference card is from nvidia and not evga/asus/msi/etc.

For me its either the stock evga or the classified. I have had the best experience with those.

EVGA stock version:

reference card:

I'm recommending the first one not the second one.
