Has anyone gotten a release date for the new aventum case? I'm ready to drop like 10k but I want the new case to go with the new card.

Yes, the team is working on getting the product page launched. We're only a few days away at most. It should be ready and live by the first week of October.

It's been pushed to the middle of November for now.
What I suggest you do is place an order for the Aventum 3 now, and specifically ask for the Aventum X in the special notes area at the bottom of the configurator. This way, you can get into the assembly backlog, it's a few weeks out even with Aventum 3 orders. You can also email me your order number afterward so I can manually put notes ([email protected]) |

Hello again Alex, just trying to follow up once again with any updates to the Aventum X release date? Any news or updates at this time? Still waiting patiently. I considered your advice from last time about filling out an order ahead of time but there's too many options to consider about products/pricing especially with tech items. Thanks again.

We do have Aventum X units that have shipped for customers that have asked for them, I encourage you to place an order now for one. Just request for the Aventum X in the special notes section at the bottom.
We are officially launching the Aventum X during the first week of December for the Holidays. |

The Velox X features a full-size window on the main side. The Aventum X features full-size windows on both sides.
If you order a Velox now, it will be with the window. We'll be updating photos in January. |

Best suggestion is to search on Google for the "Aventum X" and you'll find some content about it from CES 2018 by press. The main difference is that it has large full-size glass windows on both sides. Nothing else has really changed.

I am also curious about the case. I looked up pictures of the Aventum X like you suggested. The pictures from CES show a glass front with the fans visible. There's also pics of one from from the recent giveaway that has a metal front. Can you confirm which one it is?

I did what Alex suggested and ordered it under the Aventum 3 case. Mine is currently in stage 3. I didn't care much for "blindly" buying a several thousand dollar computer. You can be sure on what components you're getting, but the case is another story, there may be options on it that I'm unaware of. One question Ive asked several times is if the Aventum X case comes with a glass front like the CES video or a metal front like recent ones on the Twitter feed, nobody seems to have an answer. I'm hoping it's an option so customers can get what version they want, but there's nothing confirming that.
