Topic: Back with another build for review. Posted: 16 Apr 2016 at 10:23am |
For those who might not have seen it, I previously submitted a build for review here. I am still researching to decide exactly what I want and made this build with the Hailstorm II that I really like.
Budget: $2000 - $3000 (That was my original thoughts, but I went over that on this build). Expectations: Run games smoothly. I currently use only one monitor although I have been thinking about getting a second. Usage: Gaming (Fallout 4, GTA 5, just as examples of what I play), general usage and likely VR with the Oculus Rift later in the year. Special Needs: I originally chose the Slade because I live in the desert and dust is an issue. I am not sure that I want that to be a determining factor though. That should be that I get what I want and not necessarily what I think I might just need. One question that I do have is regarding the liquid cooling. I have never owned a liquid cooled computer before. Are there any maintenance requirements or info that would be good to know beforehand? As always, I appreciate any feedback! Thanks. The Hydrolux LITE is an AIO cooler like the Corsair H100 series, but with a stronger pump and water-block and the loop can be broken to add components. It's considered maintenance free for the 3 year warranty period. Then a fluid refill is recommended. Its built off the Swiftech H220-x if you want to do further research.
