Gigabyte is starting to show off its Z170 hardware: http://gigabytedaily.blogspot.in/2015/06/gigabyte-new-100-series-overview-by.html?spref=fb
4-way SLI & CrossFire support similar to ASUS Maximus VI Extreme with a PLX PCI-e routing switch and (ASMedia?) 2-lane PCI-e switches...I'm curious if performance is going to be significantly affected with all that latency and the new HBM GPU's. It looks like they have a lot of third-party media controllers for additional USB and SATA Express (why are they still pushing SATA Express?? M.2 has clearly beaten it out and is superior anyhow). New Killer LAN (dual NIC with traffic prioritization...very interesting) and Creative audio. Edited by - 09 Jun 2015 at 11:38am |
