I brought a pc some months ago and now I'm trying to add another monitor. However on the video game there is only room for one DVI jack, however on the motherboard there are two but they are disable be default. How do I enable them for use?

You want to connect all monitors to the video card, not the motherboard. For a second DVI port from the video card, you may need to get a DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter.

Also, some of the video ports on the video card might have plastic caps covering them, making it look like only one video port for the monitor.   Just remove the caps.

That could work if you have DP-Mini connectors on your GPU (DP = DisplayPort). Those are smaller DisplayPort connectors that are present on some GPUs.

If you have the larger, standard DisplayPort connectors, you can use just about any of these.
